Tower Gaming is parting ways with Ongame Network (reportedly less than amicably based on several rumors) and moving to the Cake Poker Network instead.
Tower Gaming had been at odds with Ongame Network for years due to its unlimited bonuses and head-hunting of top online players, effectively offering rakeback on Ongame, which strictly forbids its licensees from doing so in a bid to attract more recreational players.
Tower Gaming is expected to join the newer Euro Cake Network, which does not accept US players and offers an alternative to European operators who don’t want to risk being part of Cake Network, which still accepts US players.
While traffic on Cake Network has picked up slightly since Black Friday it’s still a shadow of what it once was in past years, as cashout issues and other operational problems have seen the network plummet from a top ten ranking as far as overall traffic that it enjoyed a few years ago.
